QNB Group, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, participated for the ninth consecutive year as a Gold Sponsor in the 25th International Forum organized by L’Economiste Maghrébin under the themes: “Relaunching foreign direct investments in the new global context” and “Food sovereignty in the midst of the new global geopolitics?” on April 24 and 25, 2024 at the Laico Hotel in Tunis.
The topics discussed during this edition focused on the expansion of climate-adapted food crops and the contribution of science and technology to food security. This participation included the intervention of Mr. Lotfi Debbabi, CEO of QNB Tunisia, where he presented the role of banks in managing environmental change and the different types of financing and customer support in this area.
This participation is part of the Group's desire to support economic development in the new global context, initiatives and solutions that contribute to improving food security, thus confirming the Group's main objective of promoting prosperity and sustainable growth in all the markets in which it operates.
QNB Tunisia is present in 11 governorates through 29 agencies, including two agencies for First customers in Tunis and Sousse, 3 business centers for companies in Tunis and Hammam Sousse, and two exchange offices at Tunis-Carthage airport and Djerba airport.
