What types of accounts can I open?

Current Account

  • Intended for Tunisian individuals who wish to manage their day-to-day banking transactions.

Savings Account

  • Allows you to save money while earning interest in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.

Convertible Dinar Account

  • Available exclusively to non-resident individuals in Tunisia.

Foreign Currency Account

  • Available to Tunisians Residing Abroad (TRE) who have lived overseas for more than two years, as well as to foreign nationals.

What documents do I need to provide?

For a Current Account
  • Copy of the National Identity Card (CIN);
  • Recent proof of address (electricity, water, gas, or landline telephone bill, or accommodation certificate);
  • Proof of income or professional activity (salary slip, income declaration, pension certificate, or equivalent document).
For a Savings Account
  • Copy of the National Identity Card (CIN).
For a Foreign Currency Account or a Convertible Dinar Account

Tunisians Residing Abroad (TRE)

  • Copy of the National Identity Card (CIN);
  • Copy of passport;
  • Recent proof of address;
  • Proof of income or professional activity;
  • Copy of residence permit;
  • Copy of consular registration card.

Foreign Nationals

  • Copy of passport;
  • Copy of residence permit (showing issue and expiry dates);
  • Recent proof of address;
  • Proof of income or professional activity.

What is the account opening process?

  1. Schedule an appointment with the QNB Tunisia branch of your choice.
  2. Submit the required documents.
  3. Sign the account opening documents.
  4. Once your application has been reviewed and approved, your account will be activated
